Lucy ⚘
Lucy was hit by a car and left to die. When it was dark, and she was still fighting, her founder took her to a vet pharmacy. The pharmacist contacted us for help and er managed to get her from Wukair to Royal Vet Clinic. The sad thing is that Lucy was microchipped and registered but her family left her too after realizing she has become disabled.
She is paralyzed, she had a pelvic fracture and a section of her spine has been completely injured. Her adopters will have to express her bladder 3 times a day — something our rescue is happy to help and guide about. She will also need to do physiotherapy to help improve her muscles.
Lucy would definitely appreciate a home where she is the only pet. She can tolerate cats — as she currently lives with her paralyzed cat friends, but she has not been dog tested.
Training & Exposure Lucy has had:
No current training
Exposure to: cats, strangers, kids, cars
Things Lucy needs to work on:
Physiotherapy
Hydrotherapy
Basic training once she is better adjusted
Bite History & Reactivity:
None.
Lucy would love to find a home that appreciates her disability and will love her despite it.
