How is it done?
A microchip is implanted in between an animal’s shoulder or leg to help identify you as their owner in the event they get lost. This is a quick 5 minute procedure and can be done under sedation, local anesthesia or while your pet is awake. An identification number — associated with the chip — is provided as proof. NEVER lose that number!! You’ll receive multiple stickers with the number, store them somewhere safe.

It is ESSENTIAL that you register your pet. This is the entire database for Qatar and helps identify you as their owner. In the event you lose your pet, people can simply search the number of the microchip to reunite you.
