What We Do

We rescue the stray, surrendered and stranded dogs and cats of Doha. Our rescues consists mostly of disabled kitties who are looking for a chance at a home. Currently, we have around 250 cats who live in a free-roam sanctuary nicknamed “The Cat Castle” and 7 dogs in foster. We re-home locally and internationally, specifically throughout the United Kingdom and Canada.

Why We Do It

It all started when our co-founder, Dana, came across an injured puppy. She couldn't bear to leave her and so, Dory, the first rescue of Pawmise was initiated. Like all rescues, it started with one and blossomed into many! Dana met our other co-founder, Lana both of whom shared a love for animals. Together, they started Pawmise Rescue — a promise to all the “paws” out on the streets of Doha looking for help that we would be there. We like to think that we fulfilled that promise, and still continue to do so. Since 2019, Pawmise has re-homed over 300 cats and 35 dogs. We are partnered with Furry Good Deeds Qatar, whom operate on the same grounds.
