Valentine

Valentine is a 5 year old husky whom we rescued after he was tied to a street sign for 2 days in the heat. He’s got that classic husky personality: playful, cheeky and quite active.

Valentine loves to be the center of attention. He enjoys swimming, and rolling all over freshly watered grass. While he can tolerate other dogs, he definitely prefers being the only dog. He also does not like cats and will chase them for fun! Valentine is vocal and quite expressive, his future home should be prepared for some great acapella vocals. Often on walks, Valentine loves approaching kids and sitting with them. He’d do great in a home with kids older than 7 years old who understand and respect boundaries.

Training & Exposure Valentine has had:

• Basic Cues: Sit, Stay, “Let’s Go”

• Exposure to: dogs, cats, strangers, kids, cars

• Potty trained

Things Valentine needs to work on:

• Pulling on the leash

• More basic training

Valentine would love to find a home that appreciates his vocals, loves picnics and will love him as the only dog.
