Mia
Mia was rescued off the streets at two months old and has been with the rescue ever since. She has constantly been overlooked!
Currently, Mia has gained quite a bit of weight which is something we’re working on (her current nickname is Hippo!) She is the perfect mix of cuddly, strong willed and independent.
Her personality enables her to find a home that has kids older than 10, with no cats or dogs that would be willing to work on her tiny flaws as she loves to bully small breed dogs and cats.
Training and Exposure Mia has had:
All basic cues: stay, sit, down, look and “let’s go”
Potty training
Exposure to construction, dogs, cats, kids, adults, cars, loud noises, etc.
Things Mia needs to work on:
Pulling on the leash
Reinforcing basic training
Food aggression
Bite History & Reactivity:
Reactivity to cats
Reactivity to dogs (small breeds specifically)
Mia would love to finally find a home that can overlook her quirks, and will love her as the only dog.
